Yep, another dog book... loving it so far.  Tells the story of a dog trying to find his purpose.  Cute and a quick read.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Peyton!

Today is Peyton's second birthday... I was paired up with Peyton through the Wrapped in Hope program coordinated by Margaret's Hope Chest.

This is the quilt Peyton will be receiving from her Mommy {but made by me}.

Peyton's quilt is approx 55" x 65" and was made using a pattern called Blocktangles and the Sherbet Pips fabric line, which is BEYOND adorable.  Quilted by Rhonda Loy in a whimiscal, loopy pattern.

The quilt is my longtime favorite baby pattern - Square Dance.  The fabric is Summer Song by Riley Blake.

Old Friends are the BEST Friends!

On Friday, August 12, I was fortunate enough to have a lunch date with some of my favorite peeps in the entire world.  We have been friends since we were just little girls and have supported each other through weddings, funerals, divorces, graduations, pregnancies and the list goes on and on...

I am incredibly grateful for this remarkable group of women and that we all still make time to get together!
